All 1000 Children In Need Received Backpacks & School Supplies from the 6th Annual "Backpacks Of Love" campaign!

We are thrilled to share the good news that all 1,000 at-risk SF children who live in shelters and in low-income families in SF are receiving brand-new high quality backpacks filled with wonderful school supplies this week in time to start the school year prepared and with confidence.

We wish to share special thanks to the 190 generous donors and to the strength of our Urban Angels SF community like you who stepped up to make this possible.

19 shelters signed up 1000 children and by the end of today 16 shelters already had their backpacks and school supplies delivered by UASF volunteers!

These children are happy and grateful to start school with a new backpack plus pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, scissors, folders, binders and a zippered pouch to keep them all in.

This campaign represents an exciting milestone as part of UASF's mission to help at-risk SF children through educational support. Education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty. These backpacks and school supplies are a fundamental stepping stone toward their success.
