Adopt-A-Shelter

Urban Angels SF works with shelter partners ton distribute essential goods to our San Francisco neighbors in need.

A great way to make your volunteering special and personal is to adopt a shelter in one of UASF’s programs that focus on children. The two main ones are UASF’s summer School Supplies & Backpacks program and the winter Holiday Gift Program. The number of children each shelter asks us to provide for varies between 20 and 200.

You, your family, your friends, your office, your parish, your community, can offer to buy school supplies or holiday gifts for a set number of children living at one of these shelters and even deliver these important gifts to the recipients. This is one way UASF is unique; it provides opportunities for donors and volunteers to get directly involved in delivering much-needed and much-appreciated aid to those of our neighbors who need it.
